The adminstrative section
of your auction website provides a wide range of reports that make
it easy for you to manage each auction event. You can scroll down through this page for descriptions and screen shot, or click a link to go directly to the description of a particular report: Auction Activity, Registered Bidders, Bidder Activity, Winners by Item, Winners by Name, High Bids Below Reserve, Bid History, All Items, Items With No Bid, Items That Did Not Sell, Top 10 Activity, Not Paid Report, Check Out Report, Contact Us Requests, Advertisers, Financial Summary.
-
Auction Activity: A real-time
display of the on-going activity on your auction website. Includes
counts of the number of visits
to your home page, the number of times that people have viewed
detailed information about items, the number of new bidder
registrations today, the number of times bidders have logged
in, and the number
of proxy bids and system-generated bids placed today. Bring
this report up on your computer, and it automatically refreshes
every
5 minutes to give you a picture of what's happening right now
(together with history of what has happened each day since
your auction website went live).
- Registered Bidders: This list,
sorted by last name, includes the following information for
each bidder: Username, Unique ID assigned by the system,
Name and mailing address, Email address (which is clickable),
Phone number, License number, or credit card information (that
was
requested
for identification purposes when the bidder registered.)
-
Bidder activity: This report allows you to monitor bidding activity during your auction events. The most active bidders are shown, with the option to sort either by the number of bids placed or by the total dollar value of bids placed. In addition to providing a snapshot of bidding activity, viewing this report also highlights accidental large bids placed by bidders, since such a bid would cause the bidder in question to appear at the top of this list.
- Winners by item: This is a
list of all items in the auction that have met their reserve,
sorted by item number. This report is updated continuously throughout
the auction. For each
such item, the following is shown:
- Item number (clickable to generate
a bid history report).
-
Item description.
- Starting bid and bid increment amount.
- Reserve amount.
- Retail price.
- Current high bid amount.
- High bidder's name, phone number,
email address, and system-assigned unique ID number.
- Winners by name: This is a
list of all items in the auction that have met their reserve,
sorted by bidders' last name. This report is updated continuously
throughout the auction. For each
such item, the following is shown:
- Name, phone number, email address (clickable),
and unique ID of the current high bidder.
- Item number (clickable
to generate a bid history report).
- Item description.
- Starting bid and bid increment amount.
- Reserve amount.
- Retail price.
- Current high bid amount.
- High bids below reserve: This
is a list of all items in the
auction that have not met their reserve, sorted by item number.
This report is updated continuously throughout the auction. For
each such item, the following is shown:
- Name, phone number, email address,
and unique ID of the current high bidder.
- Item number.
- Item description.
- Starting bid and bid increment amount.
- Reserve amount.
- Retail price.
- Current high bid amount, and percentage of reserve
that the bid represents.
- Bid history: When
the "winners by item number" report is viewed, each
item number is a clickable link. Clicking an item number displays
a detailed report of the complete bid history for that item.
This is displayed chronologically, showing:
- Date and time of the bid.
- Whether the bid was a proxy bid placed by a bidder, or an automatic bid
placed by the system.
- The amount of the bid.
- The unique ID, first name, and last name of the bidder.
- All items: A list of all of the items in your event inventory, with links to the detailed bid history for each item. The financial information for each item is listed, along with the high bidder, if there is one.

- Items with no bid: This report
lists all items in your auction that have not yet been bid on.
- Items that did not sell: This report is useful for post-event analysis.
Sorted and subtotaled by category, the report shows all the items in your event inventory that did not sell -- the advertiser, item description, reserve amount, and, if the item was bid on, the high bidder and the high bid amount.

- Top 10 activity: This is a set of reports that give you information on the most active bidding, measured several different ways. Specifically, five reports are displayed: the 10 items with the most proxy bids, the 10 items with the greatest proxy bid above reserve, the 10 bidders with the greatest number of items bid on, the 10 bidders with the highest total proxy bid value, and teh 10 bidders with the most proxy bids. Here is an image showing a portion of the first two reports:

- Not-paid report: This report lists the winning bidder who have not yet paid for their items. For each person on the list, the number of items and total dollar amount is listed. Clicking on a bidder's name takes you to the checkout screen for that bidder.

- Check out report: This screen is used when you record payment by a winning bidder. The report lists all of the items won by the bidder, with a total dollar amount. Clicking the "payment has been received" button on this screen removes the bidder from the not-paid report.

- Contact-Us requests: This report
displays a complete history of all contact-us requests that
have been made through your auction website. Included for each
request is:
- The question that was asked.
- The answer that was supplied
when you replied to the contact-us request.
- The dates and times
when the request was submitted, and when it was replied to.
-
The name of the person who submitted the request -- clickable,
allowing you to email them.
- The name of the person at your newspaper
who replied to the contact-us request.

- Advertisers: A list of all the companies that have placed items into your event.

-
Financial Summary:
