Adding e-commerce to your web site
Your website will have pages for the items that you are selling, and these pages will look something like this:

Notice that the consumer is able to specify the characteristics of the item being ordered (e.g. color and size), and to enter the number to be ordered.

If the consumer has been shopping for a while, and wants to check to see what she has already put into her shopping cart, she can click the "view cart" icon.

If the consumer wants to order one or more of this item, then, in this case, she picks a color and a size, enters a quantity, and clicks the "add to cart" button.
